Ajakiri Total Film valis läbi aegade 50 parimat õudusfilmi. Esimesele kohale tuli "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" 1974. aasta versioon. Tobe Hooperi tehtud hirmufilmi kõige õudsemaks kohaks toodi välja see: "Mõrvar riputab Pami konksu otsa ning tegeleb temaga hiljem. Kõigepealt peab ta lõikuma Jerryt enda mootorsaega. Sellele filmile on tehtud ka uusversioon ning mitu järge. TOP 50´sse mahtus palju psühholoogilisi, veriseid, hirmutekitavaid ja värisemapanevaid õudukaid, nii et näitame ka teile täielikku nimekirja.
